We were lucky enough to have Mario Sevayega who played the 2009 Harvest of Hope Festival at the St. John's County Fairgrounds come to the 2nd annual IPAS and play a set. He sounded great and we got one song on video. Thanks to my friend Sarah for taking video of Mario's performance. 2nd Annual Potato Art Show Pictures
The 2nd Annual Show was a big success. Dr.Chad Hutchison's lecture about potatoes, great potato-based art, food served by Warriors(HYAC) football players and live music made for another really cool event at Johnny's Kitchen. Big thanks to my buddy Christian who was visiting from Chicago with his wife and son who helped me hang the show the night before.(It's hard to get into a busy restaurant like Johnny's and do a complete re-installation of all the artwork).Leslie Robison's video of a woman who lost her arms in a tragic stone carving accident and found her new medium to be potatoes and Theresa Lawrence's Village Potatoes were crowd favorites
